Washington, Feb 7 (ANI): American singer Jessica Simpson is said to have suffered a mini meltdown while performing at a concert in Michigan on February 5.
Simpson was performing as the opener for the Rascal Flatts tour in Grand Rapids, when she reportedly forgot her lyrics, mumbled, and held back tears all the way through her strange 38-minute set, reports Fox News.
She was seen, according to a report from RadarOnline.com, holding her earpieces throughout one of her signature songs, "These Boots Were Made for Walking," and tried to keep them in place while complaining that she couldn't hear herself.
The singer then forgot the lyrics to her single "Come on Over," and apologized to the audience for it, and after that she asked the band to stop playing during the song "Pray Out Loud," and even asked them to start over.
Simpson even admitted that she felt like walking off the stage, but stuck it out, especially after the audience had paid 57 dollars to 200 dollars for the tickets.
After her performance ended, Simpson walked off the stage, thanked her seven-piece band and reportedly looked as if she were wiping away tears. (ANI)
