Lahore, Feb 6: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari's father Hakim Ali Zardari has received a bomb threat from an unidentified caller.
Hakim, who is undergoing treatment at a Karachi hospital, is likely to be shifted to Islamabad due to security concerns, a private TV channel reported on Thursday, Feb 5. Zardari visited his father at the Ziauddin Hospital, where he is currently under treatment for pneumonia.
Reports suggest that the President stayed at the hospital for about an hour. The Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khoro, Sindh PPP General Secretary Nafees Siddiqui, Nargis Khan and Punjab Law Minister Tanveer Ashraf Kaira also visited Hakim Ali Ali Zardari. The Daily Times reported that Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab Chief Minister also sent a bouquet for Hakim Zardari's health.
