The season 2 of IPL auctions is being held in Goa. The second season which will start on April 10 will see more foreign players as the number of maximum overseas players in each squad has been raised to 10.
Eight Indian Premier League franchisees are buying 17 players from a pool of around 50 with a total of USD 13.59 million in their pocket. According to sources, Chennai Super Kings may spend upto USD two million for two slots.
