The planted report read as, "Whether he was killed in custody immediately after the Mumbai attacks or in recent days is yet to be confirmed. India has not provided any DNA samples on Kasav or the nine terrorists yet."
In a contrary report, highly placed sources in Pakistan's Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) said that the agency probing the 26/11 attacks have received a nod from the nation's interior ministry to interrogate Kasav, as he is the only terrorist who can give complete information of terrorists operating from Pakistan's soil.
The Federal Investigative Agency is believed to have submitted its interim report to the interior ministry, a review of which is expected on Friday, Jan 30, before making a formal statement on Saturday, Jan 31.&13;
