Brit school in row over 'pole-dancing demonstration'
London, January 30 (ANI): A Brit school seems to have invited trouble after setting up a pole-dancing demonstration for students.
South Devon College in Paignton had let Sam Remmer spin in hot pants and a sports bra for 1,000 students aged 14 to 19 during a Be Healthy Week.
But a second demonstration saw a change in the venue from a public area to the gym after staff complained it was "inappropriate" and distracting pupils, reports the Sun.
Sam had agreed to perform without charges on a condition that she could upload the clips on popular video sharing website YouTube to advertise her company Art of Dance.
However, she has now apparently been told to pull the plug on the online clips.
College vice principal Pat Denham insisted there were no official complaints and that it was a "pole fitness demonstration" and "not pole-dancing".
Meanwhile, Sam said: "We must educate people in the difference between fitness pole dancing and lap dancing. Pop groups promote inappropriate behaviour far more than me." (ANI)
