Melbourne, Jan 30: The William Sisters saga continues in the World Badminton. Venus and Serena Williams of United States won the Australian Open womens' doubles title after beating the team of Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova and Japan's Ai Sugiyama.
Tenth seeded sisters packed home the ninth seeded pair in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to seal the win. The Williams sisters were in command right through the first set 6-3. Seizing the initiative in the second set as well Venus and Serena snapped up a crucial break of serve to take the second set 6-3 winning their third title at Melbourne Park.
Venus and Serena Williams had won the title earlier in 2001 and 2003.
