Islamabad, Jan.29 (ANI): Pakistan has once again urged the United States to halt the predator attacks inside its territory, as the attacks are proving counter productive in the war against terrorism in the region.

"The drone attacks inside Pakistan are harming the war against terrorism," Pakistan Information Minister Sherry Rehman said.

"Pakistan owns the war against terror as the country has suffered the most at the hands of terrorists," she added.

According to The Daily Times, Rehman said that the Pakistan government has asked the US administration to share information about the presence of terrorists on Pakistani soil so that "our own forces" could take action against them.

Commenting on the prevalent situation in the tribal region of the country, where the Taliban has once again established its rule, she said that the government has pledged to take every step to help the people of Swat and FATA.

"The government is making all efforts to save the people of FATA and Swat from displacement," Rehman said.

On being asked by reporters about the illegal radio broadcasts by the militants in the tribal regions to announce their 'sharia', and create havoc among people, she said: "Measures were being taken against illegal radio broadcasts in the affected areas." (ANI)
