Australian Open: Bhupathi-Knowles in final

Melbourne, Jan 29: The 2008 runner-ups in the Australian Open, Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles stormed into the finals of the men's doubles at the Australian Open 2009 on Thursday, Jan 29. The duo beat Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Oliver Marach of Austria 6-3, 6-1 to enter finals.

The Indo-Bahamian duo comfortably crushed the Polish-Austrian duo in just 58 minutes. They made only two unforced errors in the entire match. Mahesh and Mark will now play the winner of the second semi-final between the fourth-sseded pair of the Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes and the 2nd seeded Bryan brothers of the USA.
