New Delhi, Jan 27: R Venkataraman, former President of India passed away on Jan 27. The 98-year-old former president was admitted to the hospital on Jan 12 with complaints of delirium and dehydration.
Doctors had said that on further investigations they found that the former president also had E-Coli, urinary tract infection, sepsis, pneumonia and respiratory failure.
Venkataraman had served as the eighth President of the country. His tenure was from July 25, 1987 to July 25, 1992.
