Four live bombs found in Tumkur
Tumkur, Jan 18: Four live bombs were found at Tumkur district of Pavagad on Sunday morning, Jan 18. Peddanna, a naxalite was arrested by the Police on Dec 31. Reports suggest that he belong to a gang of suspected terrorists. During the interrogation Pedanna revealed about the bombs placed in Tumkur.
During the search operation police retrived four live bombs. First bomb was found in the morning, the search operation continued and police got three more bomb.
The bomb was detected beneath a bridge in Venkatammannahalli. Pedenna was arrested from Anathapura. He is the main accused in the Venkatammanna village police death case.
Bomb squad is still in action.
