Jammu, Jan 14: Indian security forces recently unearthed the new face of terror. It is learnt that Pakistan is now training women to take up militancy. Pakistan spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in inducting women into militancy. A young woman who was arrested while crossing the Line of Control (LoC) revealed to security forces that hundreds of women were trained in terror camps of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Asiya, (23) wife of Pak Havaldar Mohammed Sajjed, who was arrested said, "There are training camps where over 700 women are being trained. She was arrested over two months ago while crossing the LoC into Rajouri. Sources in the intelligence department said that there have been recent inputs that women have been trained to cross over and settle down in Jammu Kashmir to finally act as spies.
Asiya confessed that she was sent to Jammu Kashmir to gather information on the deployment of Indian forces at the Line of Control. She also admitted Pakistan army and intelligence agencies train militants. She said, "There are training camps in Bimar, Kotla, Sensa. In Sensa, the Army trains the Mujahids and in Kotli it is the agencies that train them. But in Bimbar it is the outsiders. "
She further added that the women read, study and undergo training sessions on using firearms. From this revelation it is clear that the entire operation goes on under the pretension of providing education and schooling to poor. Asiya was arrested on Nov 13. Her confessions reveal how active the women are in terror networks.
Two women was arrested in Doda for their connection with Lashker-e-Toiba. They were working as ground workers. Nahida Altaf, a law student was arrested in 2007, allegedly for working with Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. But Asiya's confessions reveal the new face of terror altogether.
