Lahore, Jan.11 (ANI): Chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that after the November26 Mumbai terror attacks Pakistan seems no longer a sovereign state.

While leveling allegations against the present regime of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the fundamentalist leader said: "The government has failed completely to protect the sovereignty of country."

Ahmad lambasted the Pakistan government for blindly supporting the policies of the United States.

"The present government is a 'U.S. colony', which complies with U.S. orders blindly," The News quoted Ahmad, as saying.

Talking to a delegation of National Labour Federation in Mansoora, he said: "U.S. is now directly interfering in the appointments of Ministers and Ambassadors."(ANI)
