Chopper crash kills 7 in Louisiana
Washington, Jan 5: Reports suggest that a helicopter crashed in southern Louisiana of United States of America killing seven people on board.
The cause of crash which took place on Sunday, Jan 4 is yet to be known. One person survived and another is missing reported Louisiana-based television station WWLTV. Search operation is on for the missing person and the survived one is hospitalised.
WWTV said that the chopper belonged to PHI Inc., a helicopter services company that provides transportation to offshore oil and gas concerns, as well as to medical and technical serivces industries.
The exact location where the chopper crashed is not revealed. But WWTV sources said that it took place in the southwest portion of Louisiana's Terrebonne Parish bordering the Gulf of Mexico.
