McDonald's introducing mini-burgers
London, Jan 1 (ANI): Customers of McDonald's, best known for its Big Macs, will now have the option to have smaller meals, for the fast food giant is introducing mini-burgers.
The launch starts with The Little Italian, a bite-size burger with cheese and Italian sauce, and Chicken Salsa Wrap.
"Young mums buying a meal for the kids may have only picked up a coffee in the past. Now they can buy a snack as well," the Sun quoted a spokesman, as saying.
In recent years, McDonald's has revamped its menu, adding salads and more chicken meals, after the outcry over rising obesity levels.
It followed the 2004 movie 'Super Size Me' when filmmaker Morgan Spurlock's weight ballooned after he gorged on McDonald's for 30 days. (ANI)
