London, December 31 (ANI): A Brit couple who had one black and one white twin daughter seven years ago could not help themselves from gasping when they had a set of coloured twin girls again!
Dean Durrant and Alison Spooner had first become the proud parents of twins Hayleigh and Lauren Durrant in 2001, with the former inheriting her father's black skin while Lauran had her white mum's blue eyes and red hair.
Then, this year the couple managed to repeat, "the two-tone miracle after a seven-year gap - and lightning struck twice," the Sun reports.
Ex-recruitment consultant Alison gave birth to twin girls again in Surrey's Frimley Park Hospital, with little Miya taking after her father while Leah was born white.
The 33-year-old father, of Fleet, Hants, said: "We didn't think it was even possible when we had Lauren and Hayleigh - and it didn't cross our minds that it could happen again. But we are just delighted that it has."
Alison said: "I was shocked when I first found out I was pregnant with twins again - but I never thought for one second they would turn out the same as last time.
"And when they were together it was clear that one was darker than the other. It was unbelievable." (ANI)
