Chicago, Dec 28 (ANI): A 15-year-old high school student is selling tubs of cookie dough to raise money for his trip to Washington, D.C to watch Barack Obama take office.
He and the entire 160-member Marching Eagles band will perform at Obama's inaugural parade next month.
Each member is responsible for raising 598 dollars from the trip.
Adam Feingold, who plays the clarinet in his band, has raised about 150 dollars.
For people who buy the cookie dough and donate it to Public Access to Deliver Shelter (PADS), Adam will also bake cookies for people staying at the shelters.
Until now, Feingold has sold a total of 40 tubs - 20 for PADS - and will be baking about 80 dozen cookies when he returns from his trip.
"I don't mind baking cookies," the Southtownstar.com quoted Adam, as saying.
"And I'll deliver them wherever my mom will drive me," he added. (ANI)
