New Delhi, Dec 24: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is again in controversy. On Tuesday, Dec 23 Madras High Court stayed his new movie Ghajini's (Remake of Tamil movie Ghajini) release in Tamil Nadu. Ghajini was slated for all-India release on Christmas. Allu Arvind, the producer of Hindi version said that the movie may not release anywhere in India if the film fails to get the stay vacated on Thursday, Dec 25 in the Madras High Court.
Arvind said, “It is true that an order has been passed in Madras High Court. And we are trying all our legal options against the order to facilitate the release on time. The appeal is to be heard on Wednesday by a vacation bench in Madras High Court."
MHC stayed the release of movie in response to a petition from the producer of the Tamil version of the movie. A Chandrasekharan, the producer accused Allu Arvind and director of Hindi version, Murugadoss of securing the rights with forged documents. Ghajini is the debutant movie for Asin, the lead actress of the movie. She is a leading South Indian actress.
Ghajini is Aamir Khan's next release after the blockbuster triumph of his directorial debut venture Taare Zameen Par. He is returning to full fledged action after a long duration.
