Elisabeth Fritzl ends feud with mum for Christmas reunion

London, Dec 24 (ANI): Elisabeth Fritzl whose father imprisoned her in a cellar for 24 years and repeatedly raped her, has ended a bitter feud with her mother so the family can be reunited for their first Christmas together.

The 43-year-old had fallen out with her mother Rosemarie over control of the six kids she had after being raped by her father Josef.

However, Rosemarie, 69, has now been invited to spend three days with them - and will even cook Christmas dinner.

The women made up after pressure from Elisabeth's six children - three of whom were raised in her cellar prison and three above ground by Rosemarie and her evil husband Josef.

"It's a time for giving thanks and forgiveness. Elisabeth wants those closest to her to be part of the family again," the Sun quoted a family friend, as saying.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have revealed that Elisabeth kept a diary of her ordeal at the hands of her father.

The diaries are understood to reveal the timing of key incidents in Elisabeth's life, including the births of her seven children to her father and the death of one of them.

Fritzl, 73, is charged with murder, rape, slavery, incest, imprisonment and abuse. (ANI)
