Delhi ATS chief, top officials transferred
New Delhi: Joint Commissioner Karnal Singh, a 1984 batch IPS officer, will now look after city police's Northern Range which comprises of areas in Central, North, North-West and Outer districts. Singh was given the additional charge of Northern Range soon after the serial blasts in the capital on Sep 13.
Karnal Singh, the chief of Delhi Police's Special Cell who was investigating the recent Delhi serial blasts, was divested of his charges of the elite anti-terror wing. He was instrumental in the computerisation of crime and criminal records and personal information system besides cracking several bomb blast cases in the national capital in the recent times.

is
presently
the
Joint
Commissioner
of
Training
wing
of
Delhi
Police.
Delhi
Police
also
made
some
changes
among
top
level
officials.

Nityanandam,
presently
in-charge
of
Recruitment,
will
replace
Aggarwal
as
the
new
Joint
Commissioner
of
Training
wing.
Virender Singh, the Additional Commissioner in General Administration, has been transferred to Recruitment wing. He will also be given additional responsibility of Armed Police.
Vivek Gogia been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of General Administration.
