Fog disrupts flight service in New Delhi
New Delhi, Dec 21: Fog continued to disrupt the normal services in Delhi's Indira Gandhi International airport for the second day resulting in a delay of flights plying to and from national Capital. The Meteorological department (Met Dept) on Saturday, Dec 20 had predicted that the weather was likely to continue to be the same over next 24 hours, and had also advised the travellers to check flight timings ahead of their departure.
GoAir, Jetlite flights have been delayed and one international flight, IC 843 to Kabul has been cancelled. Several other flights have being delayed due to dense fog. As of 7:00 am, about ten international flight departures, three international flights arrivals and eight domestic departures have been delayed.
On Saturday, Dec 20 too several flights coming to Delhi, had got delayed by upto 5 hours while two flights had to be cancelled due to the foggy conditions.
