Nepal needs peace, says Minister Janardan Sharma
Kathmandu, Dec 20 (ANI): Nepal Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma today stressed on the need for another revolution to attain sustainable peace in the country.
Speaking at a press conference here, the Minister said drafting of the new Constitution is possible only if peace and change are made the basis for moving ahead sincerely.
"The current strikes have encouraged anarchic attitude. The entire bodies and sectors should coordinate to launch revolution for sustainable peace," he added.
Sharma, also the former Maoist army commander, stressed that reconciliation is possible only if all the people are united.
He also informed that the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) will start its works after it gets full shape within two weeks.
"The procedures for talks with different underground groups active in Terai are still going on," he added, Kantipur reported. (ANI)
