Bryan Adams reports 'stalking' mum and son to police

London, December 2 : Bryan Adams has reported a stalking mother and her son to police.

The 'Summer of 69' singer had been regularly followed by the pair, whom he had first met in a restaurant to sign an autograph, according to a source.

The two, said to be from Romania and suffering psychiatric problems, had since then tailed the Canadian rocker and even showed up at his Chelsea residence in West London. "They have become obsessed with Bryan, turning up at his house and stalking him everywhere," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"It started when they saw him in a restaurant. Bryan likes to keep a low profile and is hardly the most recognisable rock star.

"He was happy to sign an autograph, but this mother and her son have become obsessed with him. He doesn't want them to get in any serious trouble, but he wants to be left alone," the source added.

The cops are said to have given the songwriter a safety advice and further installed a panic alarm at his home.
