Unorganised sector workers in the state to get benefits.

Barrackpore, Nov 29 (UNI) West Bengal transport Minister Subhas Chakraborty today assured that the poor cycle van and rickshawpullers would be allowed to travel by the state transport buses free of cost.

Inaugurating the district conference of the CITU affiliated van and rickshaw pullers Union at Shyambagar in North 24 Praganas district the transport minister and CITU leader said they sould also be provided with free ration and medical facilities.These people should have identity cards.

Mr.Chakraborty's assurances came in the wake of reorganizing his followers in the district for the future elections in the state while he observed that the opposition has always been playing against the ruling Left Front Government.

"Whenever Left Government undertook development schemes, Congress, Trinamool Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party oppose them" he alleged.

Despite all oppositions against the Left Front Government in the state, they would continue in power, he asserted.

He also ruled out the possibility of Trinamool Congress supremo becoming the chief minister of the state.
