Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) Topsline 1252, an Emergency Rescue Service (ERS), who were involved in the evacuation operations at all the three terror struck zones in south Mumbai since Wednesday night, have rescued more than 100 victims.
Diwan Rahul Nanda, Global Chairman&Managing Director of Topsgrup, which runs the Topsline service in Mumbai, stated that Topsline life brigades immediately rushed to all the three spots and carried out the operations to save innocent lives, taken hostage by the terrorists.
A few terrorists beseiged the century-old heritage building of the Taj Mahal Palace and Towers, the Trident (earlier known as Oberoi) and the residential Nariman House since the night of November 26.
''We have successfully rescued many of the victims but unfortunately, close to 20 fell victim in the hands of the perpetrators of Mumbai attacks,'' Mr Nanda said adding that the injured ones were rushed to nearby hospitals.
All the life brigades were well equipped with emergency medical aids and paramedics, he said adding that there was no perpetration at venues secured by Topsgrup as it had communicated to all its clientele (hotels&malls) of possible attacks there.
''We had asked all our clientele to install explosive vapour detection systems at their respective hotels and malls,'' he further stated.
