Sahara India steps ahead, announces monetary aid to Mumbai victims
Lucknow, Nov 29 (UNI) Sahara India Parivar today announced to pay per month an amount equivalent to five times the gross salaries of the security personnel, who sacrificed their lives in the terrorist attack in Mumbai.
Sahara will pay the amount for the next 10 years to the respective families of martyr securitymen and if their children are not mature (after 10 years), this will continue until they reach the age of 21 years.
Mr Abhijet Sarckar, Head, Corporate Communications of Sahara India Pariwar in a statement here said the compensation was just a token contributed from the Pariwar to these brave men, whose deeds would be enshrined in letters of gold in the annals of Indian history.
The Pariwar also salute the brave Army, National Security Guard (NSG) and police personnel, who in a display of unmatched valour, grit and courage, managed to subdue the nefarious deeds of these evil forces, the statement said.
''No amount of words can suffice in expressing our immense pain and anguish towards many of those brave men who lost their precious lives,'' Mr Sarckar said.
