Ahmedabad, Nov 29 (UNI) Appalled by the unprecedented terror attacks in Mumbai, people in Gujarat have expressed grave concern over the politicians' apathy to provide security to them and their espousal of vote bank politics.

Cellphones have been incessantly ferrying ''anguish SMSes'' for last two days, soon after the terrorists anchored on Mumbai shores.

The SMSes are flaying all Indian politicians, not even sparing highly popular Gujarat's Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

The essence of the SMSes summed up in three sentences: ''politicians are self serving, the state is soft, and there has got to be a payback.'' One of the SMSes, exposing the double standrads of the BJP, says, ''BJP's leader L K Advani was demanding resignation of martyred Mumbai ATS Chief Hemant Karkare claiming that he (Hemant) has wrongly implicated Sadhvi Pragya in the September 29 Malegaon bomb blasts case, while Mr Modi is offering a reward of Rs one crore to his bereaved family for his bravery and patriotism.'' Similarly, they rebuked the dual policies of Congress. Another SMS said ''Socho Payare...Indian, Afzal Guru ko Maffi, Sadhvi Ko Fansi; RSS par pratibandh, SIMI se anubandh, Amarnath Yatra par lagaan, Haj ke liye anudaan (grant-in-aid); Fir bhi mera Bharat Mahan...'' There was also a new definition of 'Mumbai (Mum+Ba+I), I Love You' because you are mother of mine as 'Mum' means mother in English, Ba means Mother in Gujarati, and 'I' means mother in Marathi... Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Raj Thackeray, are you listening??? Another SMS is also asking where is Brave Sena of Thackerays?, indicating that the brave Indian soldiers were fighting against terrorists in Mumbai.
