London, November 29 : Mickey Rourke has revealed that he is yet to get over his split from ex-wife Carr Otis - 10 years ago.
The 'Angel Heart' actor, who tied the knot with the model in 1992 after being paired with her in 'Wild Orchid', said that despite having had a troubled relationship with each other his love for the actress had not deterred, reports the Daily Express.
On being questioned if he pined for Carr, the 56-year-old said: "Pine? No, there's got to be a worse word than that. Not being here would have been much, much easier. It was something really special, but it was just fire on fire."
Mickey further added that after the demise of his brother Joe in 2004, he had given up hopes of the couple being back together again.
He said: "I waited 10 years for her to come back, until Joe died. And when Joe died I stopped waiting for her. I won't compromise.
"Carre was thunder and lightning. If I can't have thunder and lighting then I won't have anything. It'll be a one-night stand here and there, but I'm not going to compromise. I can't."
