CWC meets tonight to review security situation
New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) An emergency meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will be held here tonight against the backdrop of the Mumbai terror attacks.
The meeting would be held at 10 Janpath, the official residence of Congrss president Sonia Gandhi.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would attend the meeting, which will begin at 1930 hrs, AICC sources said here today.
Though the meeting was essentially to discuss the terror attack in Mumbai, it would also review the poll prospects of the Congress Party in state assembly elections.
AICC sources said the meeting was likely to consider the demand for reducing the prices of fuel prices in the context of the crash in the prices of international crude oil prices.
