Mathura, Nov 29 (UNI) Taking stock of the security arrangements at the shrine city of Mathura after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Home) Kunwar Fateh Bahadur Singh and Director General of Police (DGP) Vikram Singh today said a comprehensive plan would be soon prepared for tight security cover at the two religious spots here.
Elaborating on the security plan, the officials said high tech weapons and equipment would be used in the security of the Krishna Janmabhoomi city.
''The security at both the religious spots here was okay, but still it would be hiked in wake of the ghastly incident in Mumbai,'' DGP Vikram Singh said addressing newspersons.
The DGP said they would soon visit temple city Varanasi and Ram Janmabhoomi city Ayodhya for a similar security check.
Additional District Magistrate Prabhat Kumar, City Magistrate Avneesh Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) A Satish Ganesh, SP R A Govind were also present with the Principal Secretary (Home) and the DGP in the security checking operation.
