2 of 7 LeT militants killed in Kashmir are Pak residents
Srinagar, Nov 29 (UNI) Two of the seven militants killed by security forces in two different encounters yesterday, were Pakistan nationals.
One of the two militants killed by the Army and state police in a joint operation at Panzgam in south Kashmir was a Pakistani, a police spokesperson said here today.
The slain militant had been identified as Abu Talha alias Sami-ullah while another as Rayees Ahmad Wagay, a local.
Two AK 47 rifles, 13 magazines, 22 rounds of ammunition and Rs 20 Pakistan currency a wireless set had been recovered from the slain militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT).
One of the 5 militants gunned down in Shokababa, Bandipora encounter, had been identified as Abu Zaid, also a LeT militant and resident of Pakistan.
Two more bodies were totally charred, he said, adding two other militants were being identified.
