18th-century masterpiece found in attic may fetch 900,000 pounds
London, Nov 29 : A painting judged to be too sexually intimidating by its owners 150 years ago, has been valued at 900,000 pounds now.
After it was decided that the painting was not suitable to be displayed, it was consigned to the attic of a French chateau, Times Online reports.
The 18th-century masterpiece had been painted by Giambattista Tiepolo, who one of the most brilliant and sought-after Italian painters of his time.
