Supriya appointed as Jt.MD of Water Supply Board

Chennai, Nov 28 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today appointed Supriya Sahu, Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Society (TNACS) as the Joint Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board and Project Director of the Hogenekkal Water Supply project.

Ms Sahu, replaces, Hitesh Kumar S Makwana, who has been posted as Project Director, Tsunami Project Implementation Unit, an official release here said.

The Government also transferred four other IAS officers, including Shanthini Kapoor, Commissioner of Museums and Archaeology, who has been posted as Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.

K N Venkataraman, Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, has been posted as Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms, the release said.

S Vijayakumar, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems project, has been posted as Special Secretary Health and Family Welfare.

Mr Vijayakumar would hold the post of Project Director, Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Society, the release added.
