Lahore, Nov 28 (UNI) The PCB has made it clear yet another time that it would not change its stand on the Pakistani players associated with the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL).
''Our stance on ICL is loud and clear and we will follow the policy of International Cricket Council (ICC) in this regard,'' Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt said today.
''ICC doesn't permit such illegal events not recognised by the home board,'' he said adding, ''As long as ICC does not permit we can not change our position.'' The PCB had barred all the players featuring in ICL from representing Pakistan and appearing in any domestic event played in their jurisdiction.
Pakistan's Lahore Badshah led by former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has been featured in ICL's both the seasons.
Veteran batsman Muhammad Yousuf also joined ICL last month, accusing the previous regime of the PCB and captain Shoaib Malik of mistreating him.
