Shimla, Nov 28 (UNI) Icy winds swept across the tribal belts of Himachal Pradesh, where the minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district plummeted to minus 2.8 degrees Celsius.
In Kalpa, in the tribal district of Kinnaur the night temperature slightly plunged above from freezing point and settled at one degrees.
Cold wave swept the tourist resort of Manali where the minimum temperature plummeted to 0.8 degrees against yesterday's 2.2 degrees.
Bhuntar in Kullu district was cold at 2.1, Sundernagar at 3.1, Solan 3.4, Una 4.0 degrees and Mandi 4.2 degrees.
Shimla and Nahan got some relief from chilly night as the minimum temperature showed upward trends from last few days. Night temperature of Shimla was recorded 4 degrees above normal and settled at 10 degrees, Nahan recorded 12.5 degrees and Dharamshala was at 8.5 degrees.
Met office has forecast dry weather and clear weather conditions for next 24 hrs.
