Groundnut, its oil and RBD palm oil up

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Prices of groundnut, its oil and RBD palm oil rose today, on sustained demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), groundnut seed edged up by Rs 75.

Javas 60/70 and javas 70/80 rose by Rs 25 per quintal each on good demand by bulk consumers.

However, nigerseed and castorseed Bombay fell by Rs 50 and Rs 60 per quintal respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders said.

In oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil advanced by Rs 15 per ten kg on better buying support by stockists. Sunflower exp ref and cottonseed (refined) also shot up by Rs 15 and Rs 35 per ten kg respectively on lesser stock supply by industrial users.

All de-oild cakses remained steady today, traders added.
