Melbourne, Nov 28 (UNI) Expressing shock over the terrorist attacks that have rocked Mumbai and killed over a hundred, the Cricket Australia (CA) today conveyed its condolences to the BCCI for those affected.
Chairman of Cricket Australia Jack Clarke said, ''I have spoken to my counterpart at the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Shashank Manohar, to pass on our condolences to those affected and best wishes to their staff involved in this tragedy.'' He further said Australia also has many friends in Mumbai.
''Our thoughts are with them and all those who are touched by this terrible event,'' he stressed.
However, CA expressed happiness over the news of one of its senior executives Dean Kino, who was at one of the luxury hotels attacked by the terrorists, was now safe and well.
