One in four Brit housing estates plagued by drunks
London, Nov.28 : Drunks plague one in four housing estates in Britain, a report in The Sun has revealed.
Thousands of families say anti-social behavior is getting worse in the country, a massive Government crackdown notwithstanding.
The number of people suffering problems with rowdy youngsters has risen from 19 per cent to 25 per cent in four years. Almost a third of adults have witnessed violence in their neighborhood, the British Crime Survey found.
Half of those living in run-down inner cities say drug dealers have ruined their lives, compared to one in six in better-off estates.
The Tories claim that the ruling Labour Party's "reckless" policy on alcohol and licensing hours is a key factor responsible for this malaise.
