PTPS-2 records highest power generation On Nov 26
Chandigarh, Nov 27 (UNI) The Panipat Thermal Power Station-2 (PTPS-2) of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd (HPGCL) has again broken all previous records by achieving a record generation of 230.22 lakh units of power at PLF of 104.27 per cent in a single day on November 26, which is the highest ever since its commissioning.
Chief Engineer/PTPS-2 D S Ahlawat, said here today that the Power Station, comprising of two 210 MW Units and two 250 MW Units, had bettered its own record of power generation of 228.12 Lakh Units achieved on November 12, by generating around 2 lakh more units of electricity in a single day.
Mr Ahlawat said that the Panipat Thermal Power Station as a whole has achieved a record PLF of 99.99 per cent on November 26 if the 110 MW Unit-3 which is under planned shut down is not considered.
Referring to the timely maintenance of thermal generating units, he said that the HPGCL has planned to carry out the preventive in aintenance and overhauling of all units for which a time schedule has been finalised.
In order to ensure availability of electricity during the peak winter season, the annual overhauling of 110 MW Unit 3 of thermal Panipat has been completed and the Unit shall start generating power from today.

which
the

of
these
units
will
improve
