President talks to PM on Mumbai blasts
Hanoi, Nov 27 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil spoke to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the latest situation in Mumbai where serial attacks last night left scores of people dead and hundreds injured.
The President contacted the Prime Minister around 1600 hrs local time, soon after he held a Cabinet Meeting to review the situation.
The talks lasted about ten minutes.
Ms Patil, who belongs to Maharashtra has been on a ten-day state visit to Vietnam and Indonesia. She will be concluding her four-day visit to Vietnam and leaving for Indonesia tomorrow morning.
