One killed, 9 injured in clash in Haryana village
Kaithal, Nov 27 (UNI) One person was killed and nine others, including five policemen were injured in a clash between two groups in Chuhar Majra village of this district today.
Five police personnel who went to the village to control the clashing groups also sustained minor injuries in brickbatting by the two groups. Two police vehicles were damaged in the stone pelting.
Police reports here said that the clash took place following a land dispute. Firearms, swords and other sharp edged weapons and stones were freely used in the clash which lasted for about three hours.
According to reports received here, a group of villagers were sowing on a disputed which was opposed by the other group.
The police have registered a case under Section 302 and some other sections of the IPC and rounded up about 30 persons for interrogation. Some firearms and sharp edged weapons are also reported to have been recovered by the police.
The deceased has been identified as Sat Palof Bandrana village. Of the injured persons, three have been identified as Shamsher, Pardeep, Jasmer while one person is yet to be identified.
The police personnel who sustained bruises are Madan Lal, Mukesh Kumar, Jasbir Singh, Baljit Singh and Pala Ram.
