Narrow escape for BSP MP, 3 others in Mumbai
Lucknow, Nov 27 (UNI) Ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Lok Sabha member Lalmani Prasad along with three other MPs escaped unhurt in the terrorist attack in Hotel Taj at Mumbai.
Mr Prasad, MP from Basti in Uttar Pradesh, and three other MPs were safe, said BSP supremo Mayawati.
Talking to UNI over telephone from Mumbai, the Basti MP said he was safe in the hotel and would return to New Delhi this evening.
The four member parliamentary committee was staying at Hotel Taj in Mumbai since tomorrow morning.
Mr Prasad said there was panic inside the hotel after the terrorist attack late last night and he kept himself locked inside a room.
