Mumbai-bound trains normal, high security at stations
Ahmedabad, Nov 27 (UNI) The Western Railway today rubbished reports of cancellation of reservations on the Mumbai-bound trains from Gujarat, in wake of the terror attacks in the financial capital of the country last night.
According to official sources, the trains are plying as per the schedule, amid high security at all the stations in the state.
The Railway Police Force (RPF) personnel are checking the passengers and their luggages with metal detectors at the city railway station. Four teams of dog squad are checking all trains thoroughly, they said.
However, the authorities did not confirm the reports that many Mumbai-bound passenger chose to get down at Vadodara railway station instead of continuing their journey, after the news of blasts reached them last night.
