Mumbai attacks indicate intelligence failure: Digvijay
Guna, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today condemned terror attacks in Mumbai and said it indicated serious intelligence failure.
''We need to strengthen our intelligence system to avoid similar incidents in future,'' Mr Singh told reporters here, after casting his vote at Ragogarh in this district for Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls.
Replying to a question, he said the Congress had fought Assembly polls unitedly. He said Leader of Legislature Party was considered Chief Minister under the Parliamentary System and legislators would elect their leader.
Earlier, besides Mr Singh, his wife Asha Singh exercised her franchise.
Mr Singh's younger brother and BJP MP Lakshman Singh also cast his vote from Ragogarh. Later, talking to reporters, he claimed that the BJP would form government in the state.
