Shimla, Nov 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today condemned the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and slammed the Central Government for its failure to take preventive steps to protect the lives of the people.
''Terrorist attacks have taken place all over the country in the recent past and the UPA Government has yet to adopt any concrete policy to protect the innocent people,'' Mr Dhumal said.
''It was surprising that the UPA Government while convening the National Integration Council meeting had missed the agenda on terrorism which speak of the concern the UPA Government has towards the global terrorism problem.'' He said there was a need to rise above political and other considerations, work collectively to root out terrorism from the country and protect life and property of the innocent people in right earnest.
