Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Virtusa Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE), Vijayawada, to align its curriculum with Information Technology (IT) industry and to initiate the Launch Pad (LP) training programme at the college campus.
The MoU, which was signed by Virtusa Vice-President (Delivery) Akhilesh Agarwal and KLCE Chairman Koneru Satyanarana, seals the commitment of the two organisations to provide state-of-the art industry education to students, a press release here today said.
The MoU envisages special guest lectures with the goal of enhancing student skills and employability. KLCE students would interact with experts from Virtusa and its faculty would benefit from Virtusa training. Virtusa would be open for campus visits to give students first-hand experience in an IT firm, the release said.
The relationship would also help align KLC's curriculum with IT industry standards and technology and equip students with the right skills when they step into the professional IT world, the release added.
