Kurnool, Nov 26: TTD Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy said that TTD would construct a replica of world famous Tirumala Temple at Muncipal Exhibition grounds here on the occasion of Tungabadhra Pushkarams which is scheduled to be held from December 10 at Kurnool for the benefit of large number pushkaram devotees.
Mr Reddy and Kurnool Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena reviewed Pushkaram arrangements with TTD Officials and also District Officers at Kurnool Collecterate yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy informed that every day during pushkaram period all sevas like Suprabatham, Archana, Tomala Seva and Sahasradeepalankara Seva will be conducted at the proposed model temple for the purpose of pilgrims in addition to Srivari Kalyanam which will be conducted at the same exhibition grounds on any one day during the pushkaram period, TTD said in a release.
He further said that cultural programmes by Annamacharya Project, Dasa Sahithya Project, Dharma Prachara Parishad and TTDs S V Music and Dance College besides dharmic lectures would also conducted at the specially erected stage beside the model temple. The prestigious laddu prasadam sales counter and TTD publications sales counter will also be opened at the exhibition grounds, he added.
The TTD Garden Department will arrange flower decoration for the Lord and its electrical department will provide decorative illumination at important points in the town.
Annaprasadam and small laddus will also be distributed to the devotees, the release added.
