Three posts of Assistant Advocate General sanctioned in HP
Shimla, Nov 26 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet in its meeting held here today sanctioned three posts of Assistant Advocate General and also upgraded a post of Law Officer to Assistant Advocate General.
This decision was taken in order to strengthen the office of Advocate General with adequate manpower to represent the State Government in various courts more effectively so that all pending cases are expedited promptly.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal presided over cabinet the meeting.
The Cabinet gave consent to filling up of 8 posts of different non-teaching categories in the Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Paprola in Kangra district.
It approved Recruitment and Promotion Rules for the post of Director of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali.
Earlier, the Cabinet adopted a condolence resolution to condole the demise of Hima Thakur, wife of PWD and Revenue Minister Gulab Singh Thakur.
