New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Pakistan today said the Indian cricket team was welcome to visit that country and would be provided every possible security during the tour.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said at a press conference here after delegation-level talks with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee that Pakistan would address all concerns of the Indian side and people in that country loved to watch both sides play.
Mr Mukherjee said he hoped that the Indian cricket teanm would go to Pakistan.
''People in India and Pakistan love cricket...What a thriller it is ! Let the people in Pakistan enjoy the game. We will address all concerns and issues raised by experts...Come to Pakistan. People have to watch the game...Give us a positive pitch. We want to play,'' Mr Qureshi said in response to a question.
The Pakistan Foreign Minister said that right now, Indian tennis players were in Pakistan. The shooting team was also there.
''They are safe and enjoying their stay. We were sorry to have missed the Indian hockey team. You are welcome and we will address your concerns,'' he said.
