Ahmedabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), one of the leading animation and visual effects institutes in the country, offering various courses in computer graphics, animation and special effects, have launched their second training centre here.
The centre has the state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities with well-equipped labs and a production-oriented learning environment, as per international standards. The centre will be run and administered by 4N Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Maya Entertainmnt Ltd (MEL) executive vice president Jai Natrajan said, ''The entire western world, particularly the US, is outsourcing many projects to India for the production of their big budget films, ad promos, games and many more. This shows their faith in our talent. We must promote talent through our branches all over the country''.
''MAAC has started a first-ever initiative in the animation industry called MAAC Creative Shop (MCS), where students of MAAC can create original content ideas for all platforms, including TV, home video, films, mobile, gaming and other new media streams. The committee will shortlist the concepts, based on host of parameters and develop them for the market,'' he added.
