Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Hyderabad grabbed a 148 run first inning's lead as Rajasthan collapsed in the post lunch session despite a gallant 136 from Robin Bisht, for 405 in a drawn match at the end the four-day Ranji Trophy Elite-A super league match here today.
Hyderabad picked up three points to increase the tally to ten and Rajasthan got one making it two points.
With Rajesh Bishnoi departing, adding four runs to their overnight 267 for 3, Bisht and Deshpandey were involved in a defiant 111 run partnership for the fifth wicket which appeared to rejuvenate Rajasthan's chances against Hyderabad's massive 553 for six declared.
Bisht completed his century and looked for a big score when Quadri got the major breakthrough for the host luring him to go for a big hit only to be hold up in the deep mid off to Lalith Mohan when he was 136.
Deshpandey remained unbeaten on 73 from 167 balls with six fours as Rajasthan lost the remaining five wickets adding 23 runs.
Medium pacer Ashiwn Yadav did the maximum damage claiming four wickets for 67 in a spell of 28 overs with five maidens. Arjun Yadav picked up two wickets to claim 3 for 62. Hyderabad who went in for the second knock to complete the formalities, were 33 for no loss.
